Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the KineticDesq website and desktop application ("KineticDesq", "the app"), provided by Darpan Neve ("we", "us"). By downloading, installing, or purchasing a license for KineticDesq, you agree to these Terms.

License

A paid purchase grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to run KineticDesq on the device(s) covered by your license, for as long as you comply with these Terms. The free tier may be used without purchase, subject to the same Terms.

Acceptable use

• You will not redistribute, resell, or sublicense the app or your license key.
• You will not reverse-engineer the app except where permitted by law.
• You will not use the app in a way that violates applicable law.

Payments

Purchases are one-time payments processed by Stripe. No subscription or recurring charge is created by a purchase.

Cancellation & refunds

KineticDesq has no subscription to cancel. Refund eligibility is governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Disclaimer

KineticDesq is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, particularly for the experimental lock-screen sync feature, which relies on undocumented macOS behavior and may stop working after a macOS update, outside our control.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of KineticDesq.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
